Orit Akta – Monographic Book
Orit Akta Would Love Your Support!
We invite you to take part in the publication of her first artist book
Dear Friends and Collectors,
We are delighted to invite you to take part in a milestone moment in the career of gallery artist Orit Akta – The publication of her first-ever artist monograph.
More than a book, this publication is a lasting document of Orit’s artistic journey, bringing together works spanning different periods of her career alongside reflections on her creative process and the personal and cultural narratives that shape her work. It is a project that preserves an important body of work for future generations while offering an intimate look into the evolution of one of Israel’s most compelling contemporary painters.
The book features a major essay by Professor Yael Guilat, who examines Orit’s artistic development through biographical, historical, and cultural perspectives. Richly illustrated, it presents an extensive collection of paintings, sketches, and creative processes, revealing the emotional and intellectual journey behind the works.
The book will be launched alongside a solo show at the Mishkan Museum of Art, Ein Harod, in October 2026, curated by Avi Lubin.
Publishing an artist book of this scope is an ambitious undertaking and an essential milestone in an artist’s career. We believe that projects like this are made possible through the support of a community that values art, culture, and the preservation of creative voices.
We warmly invite you to become part of this journey by supporting the publication through one of the patron opportunities listed below.
Your contribution is not simply the purchase of a book – it is an investment in the creation of a lasting artistic legacy. As our way of saying thank you, each support level includes exclusive rewards specially created by Orit for this project.
Thank you for helping us bring this important publication to life.
With gratitude,
