Lee Yanor’s new exhibition continues the event And Now that took place in the unique space of Suzanne Dellal Center’s Varda Hall (Link to the video).
And Now presented an installation of Yanor’s two new video works, followed by a live performance (featuring Batsheva dancer Zina Zinchenko and artist Lior Tamim), and ended with a special screening of Yanor’s unforgettable film,
“Coffee with Pina“.

Back into Zemack’s intimate gallery space, Yanor creates a new syntax by drawing material from recent and past works: she cuts, fragments, assembles, enlarges, isolates, freezes, recreates new meanings and situations.
In her world, the body expresses the secret language of the soul.

In addition to the new video works And Now / Only One Story, the exhibition will unveil a series of new emulsions on fabric through which Yanor goes back into the history of photography. In the darkroom, she “paints” her images using a photo-sensitive emulsion on large formats which she develops one by one, like unique monotypes.

The exhibition will also include an installation of photographic prints on rice paper, digital/Super-8 films and holograms.
